About the project

I worked on enhancing Payoneer’s mobile design system by identifying inconsistencies, standardizing components, and streamlining the library. A key goal was to document each component with clear descriptions and use cases, helping the team build a scalable and consistent foundation for future product updates.

1. Process

  • Audited existing mobile components and mapped design components to live product screens to assess actual usage
  • Identified duplicated, outdated, or unused elements across flows, Aligned component structure and naming with the team
  • Created detailed documentation for each core component, including anatomy, usage guidelines, do’s and don’ts.
  • 2. Results

  • Reduced component count by 15%, eliminating duplication and outdated elements
  • Established a standardized, scalable mobile library with consistent naming and variants
  • Delivered comprehensive documentation to support design consistency, faster onboarding, and smoother handoff to development
  • Improved team alignment on how and when to use each component across mobile flows
